Latin American Acquisitions Committee Tate

Our latest news…

Celebrating Ten Years
On September 1, the American Patrons of Tate celebrated the tenth anniversary of opening an office in New York. During this period $59 million has been raised to support capital appeals, exhibitions and scholarship projects at Tate as well as the acquisition of works of art from North and South America. In addition, over $40 million of art has been acquired using either income from our endowment or by generous gifts from private collectors.  We are truly grateful for your support which enables art from North and South America to be fully represented at the most visited museum of modern art in the world.  Thank you so much!

We are delighted to announce that the American Patrons of Tate now has its own website. Beyond the Border Art Fair
ACG: Art Consulting Group is pleased to present Spotlight Artist Tomas Rivas. He will debut the specially commissioned mural “The Illusory Architecture for the Dome of St. Ignatius, after Andrea Pozzo # 2" at the Beyond the Border International Contemporary Art Fair. This inaugural event will showcase over 23 prominent national and international galleries and bring to San Diego over 200 artists, national and international, new and emerging. Rivas’ stunning neo–classical and baroque pieces, made of drywall and wall paper, make antiquity look brilliantly ephemeral.
