Cildo Meireles opens in Mexico City
The Cildo Meireles exhibition opens at the Museo Universitario de Arte Contemporáneo in early July. The exhibition which opened at Tate Modern in London last year and then traveled to Barcelona in early 2009 was due to have continued to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the Houston Museum of Fine Arts but both museums pulled out as venues, so this will be the only opportunity to see the exhibition of this acclaimed Brazilian artist in North America.

Acquisitions Committee
We are extremely happy to welcome Beth Rudin De Woody (New York) as a member of our American Acquisitions Committee which helps acquire contemporary American art to gift to Tate.
